7th Annual UIC Day of Service – Student Orgs Needed!

“The UIC Day of Service is the day where the UIC community comes together to give back to Chicago.  It was started in 2009 and has been a staple ever since.  The 7th Annual UIC Day of Service will be on Saturday, April 16th this year”

We have two different levels of involvement you might be interested in.

  1. Need someone as site-lead.  This requires communicating with the site beforehand, helping to spread word of the UIC Day of Service, communicating with your volunteers, being the point person for the day of, making sure everyone signs in and fills out evaluations, and turns them in the week after, all with SLDVS support!  These site lead spots are first come, first served and are a great way to serve the community.
  1. This is a great opportunity for GSC and need reps to volunteer to make up for missed meetings!  This is being offered before general sign-ups open and sites go quickly, so if this sounds like something that interests you, don’t delay!

Below is a table of all of the current sites, information about them, and whether or not they need a site lead.  Please let me know if one strikes your fancy for being a site lead, or group volunteering, or both!
