Information from the GSC

The GEO sent out information about the emergency grants the Graduate College is offering to Graduate Assistants.  Below is part of the email that the GEO sent out on March 31, 2011.

“If you are a Graduate Assistant and had extra withholding from your paycheck due to tax on the value of your tuition waiver, please go ahead and apply for an emergency grant from the graduate college at http://grad.uic.edu/cms/?pid=1000948.”

Please make sure that you read through the instructions and FAQ on the Graduate College website to understand the whole process. Also, do not wait to apply for this grant; the grants will not be offered during the summer or fall.
